Right. Let’s do this again.
February was special. October is going to be even better!
Nadia Sheikh makes indie-pop rock for emotional overthinkers – bilingual anthems and guitar-driven confessions that somehow manage to be both completely personal and impossibly singable. Her music lives in the space between raw and anthemic, between English and Spanish, between big choruses and honest lyrics. She’s played arenas across Europe with Stereophonics and Bastille, graced the stages of Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and FIB Benicàssim, and supported PJ Harvey and Texas along the way. Her bilingual EPs Done & Dusted and Dicho & Hecho found homes on BBC 6 Music, Radio X – with regular supporters in Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins and John Kennedy – and editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.
The Water Rats. 22nd October.
Small room. Big songs. Come sing with us.
