Post-Eurovision blues hitting strong? Don’t worry, Platform ’96 is back and ready to depart for Stage 002 alongside Theodor Andrei, Eurovision semifinalist and Vocea României Junior semifinalist (The Voice Kids Romania).
With multiple appearances on BBC Music Introducing, joining Theodor will be Glass Bridges, a four-piece alternative rock band that represents the fragility of early relationships and the determination to strengthen connection through self-reflection and love.
Taking place at The Water Rats, a renowned venue steeped in music history with Bob Dylan, The Pogues and Oasis playing their first gigs, Stage 002 is promising an unforgettable night of live music in a truly iconic setting.
THE LINE-UP
Theodor Andrei is a singer, composer, and actor, with an impressively long list of theatre and voice-acting credits, and that’s because he started performing at a very young age.
One of Theodor’s earliest achievements was reaching the semi-finals of Vocea României Junior (The Voice Kids Romania), then a few years later he turned the judges’ heads on X Factor Romania. In both instances he demonstrated the distinctive rock vocals that are now his professional trademark.
Glass Bridges represents the fragility of early relationships and the determination to strengthen connection through self-reflection and love. Their music explores the journey towards healing, whilst fostering the belief that the bridges we break can always be rebuilt. They do so by blending hard rock and post-grunge influences to create an atmospheric yet punchy sound, with unique emotionality.
MINƎRVA is a rock band based in London. Mixing driving instrumentation with powerful and catchy hooks, MINƎRVA creates a thoughtful yet energetic sound. Coming from Mexico, Norway, France and England, they met in London where they were all studying music.
Inspired by the likes of Nothing But Thieves, Muse, Badflower, and Nirvana, they strive to find the perfect mixture of hooks and heavy riffs.
