Nadia Sheikh writes emotionally charged indie-pop rock songs with big hooks and a sharp sense of melody. Her music balances vulnerability and grit, pairing intimate lyrics with anthemic guitar-driven choruses.
Her path so far has taken her from arena stages to major festivals, supporting Bastille at The Brighton Centre, touring across Europe with Stereophonics, and opening for PJ Harvey and Texas at Madrid’s Noches del Botánico. She’s appeared at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Kendal Calling, Y Not and FIB (Benicàssim), and performed on Spanish national TV for Los Conciertos de Radio 3.
Releasing music independently, Nadia has carved out a sound that sits between raw confession and widescreen pop rock. Her songs have picked up strong support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, alongside tastemakers including CLASH, Rolling Stone France, The Line of Best Fit and Fresh On The Net.
Her recent EPs Done & Dusted and Spanish-language counterpart Dicho & Hecho were championed by Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins (BBC 6 Music) and John Kennedy (Radio X), earning editorial playlisting across Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. Highlights from 2025 include performing at Coldplay’s Wembley Fan Zone, showcasing at NXNE Festival in Toronto (with support from PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund), and landing her song “The Start of December” on Hallmark US series Twelve Dates ’Til Christmas.
2026 kicks off with a London headline show at The Water Rats on 12th February, following an appearance at Tim Burgess’ Merch Market at Troxy — a chance to catch Nadia in an intimate room, playing new and recent material, as well as some fan-favourites.
