From archival material and personal recollections of the original Players’ Theatre, the presenters will describe its history using illustrations and film clips that established ‘Late Joys’ as a British institution – from Evans’s Song and Supper Rooms through to Under-the-Arches in Villiers Street, to a new theatre in Craven Passage, Charing Cross.
