‘Mary Had It Easy’ is a one-woman comedy show about religion, sex, and shame.
A young woman has been forced to give a presentation on Mary Magdalene. She can’t be arsed. What begins as a bored presentation spirals into confession, stand-up, dance, prayer and lots of oversharing. Between the jokes, grudges and questions she probably shouldn’t ask God directly, she finds herself confronting desire, belief and the terrifying possibility of peace.
