The all Electronic Music Open Mic (EMOM) is back in London. As part of the EMOM rising tour this is one of a series of gatherings designed for electronic music producers, creators and enthusiasts. Let’s dust down the live music in what we hope will be the post Pandemic era and make some sounds, have a chat and a maybe even a dance. Hosted by S T A R S and Martin Christie.
Seeking all forms of electronic music including: dance, drone, ambient, noise, synthpop, techno, glitch, electrojazz, experimental hip hop, loopers, trance etc
Get out of the home studio and into the light of a listening and appreciative audience. Laptops, synths, drum machines, loop stations, groove boxes, sequencers, samplers, iPads, modular synths, keyboards, analogue and digital devices of all kinds welcome.
Meet other electronic music makers and share ideas. There will be ample time and space to discuss this form of music making.
Open mic slots are on a first come, first served basis on the night. Slots are up to 15 minutes (including set up and pack down times).
Sorry – no acoustic guitars – unless they are being used to generate soundscapes or some other style of music in keeping with the night.
