In December 1977 Punk band ‘Jet Bronx and The Forbidden’ featuring Loyd Grossman reached No 49 in the UK singles chart with “Ain’t Doin’ Nothin’”.
Fast forward 30 years and pasta sauce king Loyd met gatecrasher Valentine at a party and they resolved to re-start as ‘The New Forbidden’.
Since then TNF have been regulars at Glastonbury and have appeared at Cornbury, Rebellion, Guilfest and a range of London venues. 2018 sees The New Forbidden release a brand new album and tour the UK with their catchy material; a fresh take on the sexy, beat-driven and lyrical 1970s sound of the likes of Iggy Pop and Lou Reed.
