This November, Ranga Records lands at The Water Rats for the first time with a killer indie rock lineup. Big sounds, new faces, one unmissable night.
Lost Alice:
Step into a world where 60s femme fatale meets modern-day melancholy; Lost Alice’ self-styled “groupie rock” is impossible to ignore. With fans leaving shows inked with her signature, Lost Alice is quickly becoming a magnetic force on the underground indie scene.
Get dolled up and grab your leopard print coats – it’s time to take a trip to wonderland.
Bleach Estate:
Bleach Estate are a four piece indie punk band from south east London. Their songs are often driven by emotionally charged lyrics combined with heavy guitar riffs, afro-cuban rhythms and bluesy grooves. On stage, their live shows flow from loud and restless to melancholic and lovesick. In other words, there’s something for everyone.
Model Citizen:
Think a collision of 70s rock and Britpop. Model Citizen keeps the influences of led zeppelin, black sabbath and hendrix but adds a sharp edge of pj harvey to the mix. They’re doing it for Lindsey, and will keep you asking ‘Am I a Model Citizen?’
Any Fool:
Any Fool is an alternative rock band from London. Their music is reminiscent of the 90s grunge/alternative scene and also influenced by folk music. Their emotive live performances make for an exciting spectacle of infectious youthful energy and undertones of nostalgia and melancholy.
Tickets: £8 advance/ £10 OTD
