Enjoy an intimate night of music & culture from the Arabic-speaking world at the second edition of Open Mic Night – A Night of Arabic Music
After a successful first Open Mic Night held at SOAS in late 2021, which saw a range of performances from talented singers and musicians and drew in a large audience from across London, we’re back for the second time at an exciting new location.
Join us at The Water Rats in Kings Cross for a relaxed evening immersed in the beautiful sounds of the region. Bring your friends, order drinks at the bar, and get ready for another incredible line-up of performers recreating some of your favourite Arabic songs live.

The environment promises to be friendly and supportive with people there to feel a sense of home through music, so if you decide on the night that you would like to take the stage too, you are more than welcome – just speak to Layla on the night.
The fun doesn’t stop there – stay until the end to dance to the best Arabic dancefloor hits played by an exclusive DJ.
