Camden Fringe: Truth, Love & Madness or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love My Depression

Details
Date : 16 August
Time : 19:30 - 21:00
Website : Facebook Event
Tickets : Ticket Link

Zac Thraves used to be Depressed and lives with his official label of bi-polar. In this new show he explores what it’s like to be a cog in the mental health industry and to be rinsed by the system. He guides us through hokum and zeitgeist and tries to unravel truths, leading us to his theory to reclaim madness.
Are we the ones that are mentally ill or is it wrong?
Zac challenges the idea that the only route to wellness is to be good, take your tablets and do therapy. There is another way – Understand your Truth, Love & Madness.
Zac’s one-man show takes us on a theatrical ride into the rabbit hole, where he talks openly about his experience with self-harm, attempted suicide and ultimately discovering that it is he who wields the power!
“Your eyes can deceive you, do not trust them.” Kenobi, or George Lucas, 1977.
