The ghosts of punters, taphouse customers, poets, revolutionaries, actors and music lovers follow us through the doors of The Water Rats on the 18th of July for our musical night, as we in turn seek to add to this centuries old tapestry of song and revelry. Between Suns is a genre-blending band from East London, seamlessly fusing rock, hip-hop and orchestral influences into a captivating, cinematic sound. Lead by French vocalist Nausciaä, whose operatic voice shifts from raw power to vulnerability, the band’s music is anchored by Paul Lisak’s gritty guitar riffs and melodic intricacies. The rhythm section—Illia Lisak on bass and Reuben Rost on drums—drives a frenetic, pulsating energy, while Sofia Lisak’s violin adds haunting beauty. Their sound is emotionally charged, unpredictable and immersive, offering a fresh, original experience that defies genre.
WINGSUIT
Wingsuit is an edgy 4 piece Alt rock band from London. Made up of guitarist Jack Milam, bassist Chris Cowie, drummer Jesse Embury and Vocalist/guitarist Josh Embury. They formed in 2025 after previously performing under the name City Of Smugglers since 2017. Their sound blends punchy riff‑driven rock, driving rhythms and melodic choruses creating dynamic and high energetic live performances.
