With their own brand of vibrant and spirited Indie Americana, Roswell Road’s harmony-drenched sound has drawn comparisons to First Aid Kit and Fleetwood Mac. Singer-songwriters Jasmine Watkiss and Zoë Wren met by chance in a busy market square in Cambridgeshire and discovered an instantaneous musical chemistry. The London-based duo blend close harmonies and thoughtful arrangements with candid storytelling on topics such as mental health struggles, sibling love, and real-life activist adventures at sea.
Jasmine and Zoë celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Rebel Joy’, co-produced by acclaimed songwriters The Dunwells. They will perform for the first time as a six-piece band, joined by Emily Aldrich on electric guitar and banjo, George Lloyd-Owen on cello, Alex Malseed on bass and Ed Bullinger on drums.

Winning Purbeck Rising in their first few months of playing together, Roswell Road’s debut EP ‘Remedy’ was named Fatea EP of the Year, and the duo went on to be winners of the Danny Kyle Competition at Celtic Connections. Roswell Road has performed on stages from Cambridge Folk Festival to the Camden Underworld, and toured in Europe and Canada. Roswell Road has supported artists John Smith, Katherine Priddy and Dea Matrona, and is fresh from an official showcase at Folk Alliance International, New Orleans.
“A duo whose voices combine to create a seamless flow of rich, harmonic beauty” – Americana UK
